The Delaware Indians (Lenni-Lenape)
- Schuylkill Lenni Lenape
This site is really for the other side of the Delaware River but is still
relevant. (Several other good L.L. pages have disappeared which is a problem
with non-governmental sites.)
- Lenape Language
The language is called Lenape, just like the tribe. Unfortunately, it is almost
extinct with only a few elders, all 90+ in age, who speak it fluently.
- Indian King Tavern Museum
The Lenape once ruled the area that is now New Jersey and the rest of the Delaware
Valley.
- The Lenape Village of Winakung
- "Winakung is a life-size Lenape Indian village carefully built on archaeological
evidence and scholarly research at Waterloo Village in Stanhope, NJ.
