- The Leonard J. Buck Garden
in Far Hills is one of the premier rock gardens in the United States.
Working with a well-known landscape architect, Mr. Buck developed a Naturalistic
Garden designed to be ecologically correct and not recognizable as being
man-made. The design enables different plant associations to thrive.
Guided Tours are offered to organized groups of all ages. Participants learn how
nature and man can work together to create beautiful places.
- The Reeves-Reed Arboretum
in Summit is a serene haven offering a wealth of beauty and educational
opportunity to individuals, families, and groups. Trees, shrubs,
and herbaceous plants are conserved and identified in their natural settings
amidst natural woodlands, meadow, and glacial features.
The Arboretum plans lectures, workshops, and field trips based on gardening,
horticulture, plant identification, environmental issues, and the arts, for
individuals, families and school groups.
