New Jersey Community Theater

  • The Barn Theatre - In 1928 the Mountain Lakes Dramatic Guild (now TBT), made its debut in the State Theatre, Boonton. TBT is now located in Montville, Morris County.
  • Chatham Community Players - First opening in 1923 in Chatham, Morris County, CCP has presented a wide variety of comedies, musicals and dramas.
  • The Forum Theatre Company - The Florham Park Players, Morris County, has been providing quality theatrical entertainment since 1949.
  • The Forum Theatre Company - TFTC is located in Metuchen, Middlesex County.
  • Monmouth Players - The Monmouth Players are located in Red Bank, Monmouth County, and first opened in 1953.
  • Plays in the Park - Middlesex County's Roosevelt Park summer theater is located in Edison near the Menlo Park Mall. First opened in 1963.
  • Somerset Valley Players - SVP is located in Somerset, Somerset County and has been performing since 1967.
  • The Summit Playhouse - Located in Summit, Union County, TSP was founded in 1918 and is one of the oldest continuously operating community theaters in the U.S.
  • Teaneck New Theatre - In Teaneck, Bergen County, TNT introduces the audience to new playwrights as well as presenting well known plays.
  • The Villagers Theatre - The Villagers Theatre were founded in 1960 and is located in Franklin Township, Somerset County.
  • Westfield Community Players - Located in Westfield, Union County, WCP was founded in 1934.
